Meet The Team

The executive committee

CEO

Mr. WAMBI JEAN ARTHUR

Inspired by the widespread unrest affecting humanity, I founded World Friends of Peace Africa to address the troubling reality that a minority of war advocates often overshadow the majority who cherish peace and stability. Innocent people, especially youth, suffer daily as they become victims of conflicts instigated by these agents of darkness. Many young individuals are misled and drawn into antagonizing peace, jeopardizing their futures and the well-being of society. I believe it is crucial for everyone to recognize that peace is invaluable and essential for meaningful life and development. May we all support the cause of peace and liberation.

SURETY / EXECUTIVE ADVISOR

RT. MAJ. GERTRUDE. N. NJUBA (Mrs.)

Mrs. Njuba is a key national and international influencer in promoting peace and stability in Uganda and beyond. As one of Uganda’s historical woman soldiers and a freedom fighter, she played a crucial role in ensuring peace and stability in Ugandan communities and fostering a more peaceful society.

In addition to her military contributions, she has become a peace liberator, advocating for non-violent conflict resolution and reconciliation. Her efforts have inspired many, particularly women and youth, to engage in peacebuilding initiatives. Her legacy underscores the vital role individuals can play in creating a more peaceful world.

PROJECTS CORDINATOR

Mr. NUWAGABA PETER

My decision to join World Friends of Peace Africa was driven by a deep passion for making a tangible impact on communities affected by conflict and unrest. Witnessing the growing gaps between peace efforts and the harsh realities faced by many, I realized that true change can only come through strategic action and collaboration. This organization’s commitment to promoting peace and stability across Africa—and beyond—resonates with my own values. As a project manager, I am motivated by the opportunity to lead initiatives that uplift marginalized groups, especially the youth, and help pave the way for sustainable peace. Joining this movement feels like a natural extension of my desire to be part of something bigger than myself—where every project we implement helps transform lives for the better.
